To use any of our software you must have a License Key.  At the time you downloaded the software, we provided a "Demo" License Key.  The Demo key is time limited.  When you want to purchase a permanent License Key, choose one of the following and click the link to email our sales department.  You will be emailed your License Key and billed for the amount of the license.

Additional keys are obtained the same way.  Simply state in the email the reason for the additional key.

West Enterprises realizes that requiring License Keys is a complication that is not desired by most of its customers. We will strive to make the use of this software as easy as possible. When it comes to issues about lost keys, or extended demo licenses, or whatever, we will always try to make it easy on the customer.

Individual License 

The user of this license is an individual using a computer system or systems out of his or her home or "on the road".  He owns his machines personally.

The individual may have more than one computer. For example, he or she may own a couple of desktops and a laptop or two. The computers may be used for business purposes, but they are "home based".  Also, when an individual buys a new computer, he or she expect to use their existing software on it.

This individual typically buys one copy of a product and uses it on any of his or her machine(s).

This license allows this individual to use the software on any or all of his or her personally owned computers used in a non-commercial setting.

Business License

A business is an organization that has multiple employees and operates out of a business office, as opposed to operating out of a home as the individual does.

The business will probably have many computers, desktops and laptops. The company purchases a License Key for each machine.

This license provides a lower cost per copy than the Individual License but each license is only good for one machine. If the business buys a new computer, they buy a new License Key, that simple. If the business wants to simplify it even further, they can purchase a site license, see the description below.

Quantity discounts are available.  A business can buy License Keys in quantities for discounted rates.

The site license requires one payment and gives you one License Key that will unlock the software for any of your businesses computers. This may be less expensive and it is also much easier administratively because you don't need a different key for every computer.

Demo License

Anyone can receive a Demo License Key just by asking. You supply a small amount of information, no credit cards or anything onerous, and you get a License Key which will unlock the software and allow you to use it for a short period of time. Hopefully, at the end of the demo period, you will purchase a full time Individual or Business license.

Site License

Site Licenses are available for businesses. This license provides a single License Key that can be used on any computer that the business owns. One fee allows the unlimited use of the software within the single business.
